Job summary

RMR INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical engineering and installation projects from planning to completion. You will lead site teams, review drawings and specifications, and ensure compliance with Singapore standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients and contractors, managing schedules and resources, and ensuring safe, high-quality project execution.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Power Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong coordination and leadership skills; able to direct site teams and subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of electrical drawings, specifications, and testing/commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical engineering and installation projects from planning through completion.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise electrical works at project sites.
• Review drawings, specifications, single-line diagrams, layouts and technical requirements.
• Ensure installations comply with drawings, specs and Singapore requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Manage electrical engineers, supervisors, technicians and workers on projects.
• Prepare and review method statements, work schedules, and project documentation.
• Monitor progress, manpower, material needs and timelines.
• Oversee installation, testing, inspection, troubleshooting and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Manage LV electrical systems, distribution boards, cabling, containment, lighting, power and related works.
• Identify technical issues and provide engineering solutions.
• Attend meetings with clients and consultants for coordination and progress updates.
• Ensure materials and equipment meet project requirements and specs.
• Monitor project costs, productivity and resource utilisation.
• Coordinate inspections, testing activities and handover requirements.
• Ensure safety, quality and compliance of electrical works.
• Review subcontractor performance, progress claims and completion status.
• Prepare progress reports and assist in tender preparation and cost estimation.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Power Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience in electrical engineering, electrical installation or construction projects.
• Experience in managing electrical projects, site teams and subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of electrical drawings, specifications, installation methods, testing and commissioning.
• Strong project coordination, technical problem-solving and team management skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and project personnel.
