Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Project Director (Electrical) to lead large-scale electrical and multidisciplinary projects in Singapore, based at Changi.

A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 10 years of experience in electrical design and project delivery are required. You will oversee projects from initiation to handover, manage budgets and commercial performance, and lead negotiations for client contracts and subcontract packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical design and project delivery.
• Experience in mission-critical, utility, industrial or airport projects preferred.
• PE or related professional status advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, financial and operational execution of large electrical projects.
• Oversee multiple projects or portfolios from start to handover.
• Manage budgets, profitability, cost forecasting and commercial performance.
• Lead negotiations for client contracts and subcontract packages.
• Ensure safety, quality, governance and compliance requirements are met.
• Mentor Project Managers and engineering teams; drive performance and improvement.

Job description

Project Director (Electrical)

• Salary: $7,000 - $9,000
• Working Days: Mon -Thursday (830am -6pm) Friday 830am -530pm
• Working Location: Changi

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategic, financial and operational execution of large-scale electrical and multi-disciplinary projects
• Oversee multiple electrical projects or large-scale project portfolios from commencement to final handover
• Manage project budgets, profitability, cost forecasting and commercial performance
• Lead negotiations for major client contracts and subcontract packages
• Oversee variation orders, claims, commercial risks and dispute matters
• Manage resource planning, manpower allocation and major vendor strategies
• Act as the senior escalation point for clients, developers, main contractors and authorities
• Ensure project quality, safety, compliance and governance requirements are met
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and engineering teams
• Drive project performance, productivity and continuous improvement initiatives

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design and project delivery
• Experience in mission-critical, utility, industrial or airport projects is preferred
• Hyperscale project experience will be advantageous
• Experience reviewing electrical and vendor drawings
• PE or related professional status will be advantageous
