Job summary

GLEAVE PARTNERSHIP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to provide comprehensive design, review and assurance services across project lifecycles.

You will develop high, medium and low voltage systems using AIS and GIS products, review power system studies and perform grounding calculations for large-scale facilities. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement High, Medium and Low Voltage system designs using AIS and GIS.
• Develop and review power system studies, grounding calculations, CT sizing, voltage drop calculations.
• Demonstrate familiarity with IEC and ANSI/NEMA standards.
• Develop electrical product solutions for switchgear, transformers, energy storage and microgrids for large-scale AC and DC electrical infrastructure.
• Review drawings and design documentation using Google Workspace, BIM360, ACC and 3Dx cloud platforms.
• Assess technical content, coordination and quality, escalating critical items affecting schedule and cost to client consultants and contractors during design meetings.
• Ensure compliance with all client standards, guidelines, OPRs and narratives.
• Identify and document improvements to electrical engineering systems, focusing on technology adoption, cost efficiency, time savings, energy efficiency and operational performance.
• Manage defect rectifications, punch-list closures and final inspections.
• Maintain comprehensive trackers covering issues, risks and mitigation actions; Report issues, progress and blocking items to the client's Technical Program Manager and Technical Lead.

Job description

Overall Objective: Provide comprehensive electrical engineering design, review and assurance services to support the client's project lifecycle.

Key Service Activities:

• Develop and implement High, Medium and Low Voltage system physical designs using AIS and GIS products.
• Develop and review power system studies, grounding calculations, CT sizing, voltage drop calculations, etc.
• Demonstrate familiarity with IEC and ANSI/NEMA standards.
• Develop new electrical product solutions for switchgear, transformers, energy storage and microgrids for large-scale AC and DC electrical infrastructure supporting mission-critical facilities.
• Review and comment on drawings and design documentation using Google Workspace, BIM360, ACC and 3Dx cloud platforms.
• Assess technical content, coordination and quality, escalating critical items affecting schedule and cost to client consultants and contractors during design meetings.
• Ensure compliance with all client standards, guidelines, OPRs and narratives.
• Identify and document improvements to electrical engineering systems, focusing on technology adoption, cost efficiency, time savings, energy efficiency and operational performance.
• Manage defect rectifications, punch-list closures and final inspections.
• Maintain comprehensive trackers covering issues, risks and mitigation actions.
• Report issues, progress and blocking items to the client's Technical Program Manager and Technical Lead.
• Attend design meetings and provide technical direction to partners.
• Act as a key technical liaison between the client team, dedicated resources, external vendors and project stakeholders.
• Update owner-standard documentation, including specifications and programming documents.
• Support project documentation, including revision control, deliverable tracking and final uploads to the AODocs cloud database system.
