GLEAVE PARTNERSHIP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to deliver comprehensive design, review, and assurance services across project lifecycles.

The role focuses on HV/MV/LV system design, power system studies, grounding, CT sizing, and voltage drop analyses to ensure adherence to client standards. The candidate will coordinate design reviews using BIM360, ACC, and 3Dx cloud platforms, communicating effectively with stakeholders to maintain schedule and cost

Qualifications

• Proficient in electrical design for high/medium/low voltage systems.
• Experience with power system studies and calculations.
• Familiarity with IEC/ANSI/NEMA standards and project coordination tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HV/MV/LV electrical designs using AIS and GIS.
• Review power system studies, grounding, CT sizing, and voltage drop calculations.
• Lead design reviews and coordination using BIM360, ACC, 3Dx and Google Workspace; escalate critical items.
• Proactively identify improvements for energy efficiency, cost and schedule savings.
• Manage defect resolutions, punch lists, and final inspections for electrical systems.
• Provide regular updates and maintain trackers of issues, risks, and mitigation actions.

Job description

Overall Objective: To provide comprehensive electrical engineering design, review, and assurance services to support the client's project lifecycle.

Key Service Activities (Active Voice, Objective Metrics where possible):

Develop and implement High, Medium and Low Voltage system physical design using AIS and GIS products

Develop and review power system studies, grounding calculations, CT sizing, voltage drop, etc.

Familiarity with standards, IEC and ANSI/NEMA standards.

Develop new electrical product solutions for Switchgear, Transformers, Energy Storage, Micro Grids for electrical large scale AC and DC electrical infrastructure for mission critical facilities.

Design Review & Coordination: To review and comment on drawings and design documentation using Google Workspace, BIM360, ACC and 3Dx cloud platforms. To assess technical content, coordination, and quality, escalating critical items affecting schedule and cost to client consultants and contractors during design meetings to ensure compliance with all client Standards, Guidelines, Owner Product Requirements (OPR) / User Requirement Spec (URS) , and Narratives.

System Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify, suggest, and document improvements and modifications to electrical engineering systems, focusing on technology adoption, cost efficiency, time savings, energy efficiency, and operational performance, and prepare and deliver presentations on proposed improvements as needed.

Defect Resolution & Project Closure: Manage defect rectifications, punch list closures, and final inspections on electrical engineering systems for formal closure.

Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates and maintain comprehensive trackers of issues, risks, and mitigation actions related to electrical systems, and will report all issues, progress, and blocking items to the client's Technical Program Manager and Technical Lead.

Meeting Participation & Strategic Direction: Attend design meetings, providing continual input to optimize design and minimize unnecessary work, and provide clear direction to partners on the path forward given problems or problem statements.

Technical Liaison: Act as a key technical liaison between the client team, dedicated resources, external vendors, and project stakeholders for all electrical engineering aspects.

Documentation Management & Standards Enhancement: Update owner standard documentation (e.g., Specs, programming documents) as design improvements are made. To provide administrative assistance on project documentation, including revision control, deliverable tracking, and final upload to the AODocs cloud database system.
