Job summary
SWTS is seeking an Electrical Power Engineer to support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment across industrial sites in Singapore.
You will work with HT/LT switchboards, protection relays, transformers, motors, and power distribution systems, under seasoned engineers, with opportunities for structured training and clear career progression.
Travel to industrial plants and customer sites will be required, and a safety-focused mindset is essential.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
- Interest in power systems and smart grid technologies.
- Willingness to travel to plants, substations, and customer sites.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Support field activities involving HT/LT Switchboards, Protection Relays, Power Transformers, Motors and Generators, and Power Distribution Systems.
- Perform site inspections, data collection, and technical reporting.
- Assist senior engineers in project execution and customer support activities.
- Participate in fault investigations and root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and technical standards.
- Attend structured technical training and mentoring programs to accelerate professional development.

As an Electrical Power Engineer, you will assist in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment. You will support field activities involving HT/LT Switchboards, Protection Relays, Power Transformers, Motors and Generators, and Power Distribution Systems. This role offers hands-on experience with real-world power system equipment and the opportunity to work alongside experienced industry professionals.
