Job summary

EM Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an enthusiastic Lift Electronics Technician to understudy the lift electronics manager and learn repair techniques.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and interpret schematics to identify issues on electrical and electronic components. This role requires accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to handle on-call duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Basic programming or diagnostic software skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with good time management.
• Willingness for on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Understudy lift electronics manager and learn lift repair electronics.
• Diagnose and repair faults in lift electronic systems, including control boards, wiring, and communication modules.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on elevator electrical and electronic components.
• Interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to identify issues.
• Test and calibrate sensors, relays, drives, and safety devices, where required.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency / cyclical repair requests in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve complex system faults.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate service records and technical reports.
• Support modernization and upgrade projects for existing lift systems, where necessary.
• Any other ad-hoc work assigned by manager / supervisor.
