Job summary

OGSP Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to lead design, estimation and site coordination on major infrastructure projects.

You will liaise with clients, consultants and main contractors, review drawings, and prepare method statements with risk assessments to ensure safety and quality. The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, and familiarity with LTA standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in construction and infrastructure projects.
• Experience with LTA projects in Singapore preferred.

Responsibilities

• Involve in design, estimation, costing, material selection and budget preparation, site review, client/ consultant communication.
• Coordinate with subcontractors/clients on shop drawings/equipment submissions, inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Inspect, sample and test materials to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
• Assist PM & GM with procurement and negotiation of materials, equipment and labour.
• Prepare construction/shop drawings submissions and method statements with risk assessments.
• Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, architects, and main contractor.
• Review consultant/client approved drawings and coordinate installation, testing and commissioning for authorities.
• Handle tender documents, prepare variations and obtain approvals from main constructors.
• Carry out final inspections for certification of completion and handover.
• Provide technical support for operation and maintenance systems.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and manpower plans; prepare testing and commissioning reports.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Involve in design, estimation, costing, material selection &budget preparation, site review, client/ consultant communication processing.
• Liaise work with relevant subcontractor/clients on shop drawings/equipment submission, inspections, testing and commission.
• Inspection, Sampling and testing of material to assure that compliance with the contract specification.
• Assist project PM & GM to negotiate/procurement materials, equipment and labour in accordance with the allocated.
• Prepare construction drawing/shop drawing submission.
• Prepare method of statement and Risk assessment.
• Attend site meeting internal and external(Client, Consultant, Architects, Main contractor.
• Consultant/client approved drawing review, installation team coordination, testing & commissioning for authorities.
• Handle tender documents, prepare variation order and get approval main constructors.
• Carry out the final inspection for certification of final completion and handing over of the works.
• Provide technical support for operation and maintenance system
• Prepare the monthly progress report for claim.
• Prepare manpower monthly and focus of project.
• Prepare all testing and commissioning report.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in construction and infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in handling LTA and other infrastructure projects in Singapore
• Experience in project planning, execution, coordination and site management.
• Familiar with LTA requirements, technical specifications, safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD Primavera) and MS Office tools.
• Familiar with interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and site coordination practices.

Soft Skills:
