Job summary

POWERCHINA (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electrical and Instrument Inspector to ensure electrical installations comply with Singapore codes and safety standards during power-plant construction.

You will perform daily E&I inspections per ITPs, read blueprints, review reports, and coordinate with subcontractors and project owners to enforce compliance. The role requires attention to detail and willingness to work overtime on site at Jurong Island.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Singapore's local electrical codes.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical systems, wiring and installations to verify safety compliance.
• Perform daily E&I inspections per ITPs to meet project specs.
• Review inspection reports and document corrective actions.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and owners to enforce standards.
• Conduct follow-up inspections to verify corrective actions.
• Investigate electrical complaints and hazards to identify root causes.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare project reports.
• Read blueprints, schematics and technical documents for inspections.
• Use inspection tools and testing devices to perform thorough assessments.
