Mason & Co is seeking a senior Electrical Engineering lead to drive PLC development and electrical design for automation equipment used in semiconductor and precision automation. This role involves leading a team, defining schematics, BOMs, components, and coordinating cross-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will lead PLC/HMI programming, motion control and safety systems, while supporting installation, commissioning and customer-site activities.

Formación

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or related field.
8+ years in electrical design and PLC development for automation equipment.
3+ years in team management or project leadership.
Experience in semiconductor or precision automation equipment preferred.

Responsabilidades

Lead electrical engineering and PLC development for automation equipment.
Manage electrical design including schematics, BOM, and component selection.
Lead PLC/HMI programming, motion control, safety systems, and machine communication.
Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and customer-site activities.
Drive standardisation of electrical designs, PLC programs, function blocks and libraries.
Lead and develop the electrical engineering team including hiring and training.
Collaborate with Mechanical, Software, Vision, Process Engineering and suppliers to meet project goals.
Support customer trials, ramp-up, and technical improvements.
Keep abreast of new automation and semiconductor equipment technologies.
