Murata Electronics Singapore (Pte.) Ltd. is seeking a proactive electrical/automation engineer for the Rationalization/Back Process Maintenance team in Tuas, Singapore.

The candidate will manage equipment and process activities: design, assembly, installation, debugging, troubleshooting, evaluation and reporting. Responsibilities include automation software development (PLC / PC-based), electrical hardware design, debugging, project coordination, and driving factory automation improvements while

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Control Engineering.
• 2–3 years of electrical engineering experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• PLC programming with high-level languages: C/C++, VB, Python.
• NC / Motion Control System: Stepper / Servo motors.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving required.
• Experience with vision systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Automation equipment software development (PLC programs / PC-based software).
• Electrical hardware design (control systems, power circuits).
• Equipment debugging / troubleshooting.
• Project management (scheduling, budget, vendor coordination, reporting).

JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Rationalization/Back Process Maintenance

Report to: Section Head

Functional Relationships with: Production, Product Design, Procurement, Process Engineering

POSITION PROFILE:

Based in: Singapore

Job Site: Tuas

The successful candidate will: In-charge and support all equipment and process related

activities like design, assembly, installation, debug, troubleshooting, evaluation & report.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Automation equipment software development (PLC Program / PC based software).

• Electrical hardware design (Control system, power circuit & special devices).

• Equipment debugging / trouble shooting.

• Project management (Scheduling, budget control, coordination with vendor & reporting).

• Support or in-charge for factory automation process & improvement.

• Ensure activity compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, specifications and maintain process ISO system.

ABILITY/COMPETENCY REQUIRED:

• Degree in Electrical / Electronics / ControlEngineering or relevant engineering qualifications.

• At least 2-3 years of working experiences in electrical engineering, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Well verse with PLC programming & high-level language programming - C/C++, VB, Python.

• NC / Motion Control System (Stepper / Servo motor).

• Good in analytical thinking / Problem solving.

• Good in vision system.
