Job summary

Seatrium Ltd. is seeking an Electrical/Telecom discipline lead for construction, testing and commissioning activities across multiple yards in Singapore. You will document requirements, develop work plans and study detailed electrical drawings to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

Entry-level candidates are welcome and will receive on‑the‑job training. You will coordinate with vendors and sub-contractors, manage resources, and monitor progress against the project schedule (P6).

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Marine Engineering or related discipline.
• Entry level candidates welcome; on the job training provided.
• Experience in managing Vendors and Sub-Contractors.
• Able to handle projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage Electrical, Instrument and Telecom discipline during construction to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Document project requirements and develop electrical work plans for construction, testing and commissioning.
• Study electrical drawings (cable ladder/tray, single line, interconnection).
• Perform electrical hot work fitting, cable termination, continuity checks, megger tests and ATEX inspections.
• Create work packages by area or subsystem and plan resources and scheduling.
• Direct and assign tasks to subordinates; prepare work conditions and materials.
• Monitor progress against the P6 schedule and report daily progress to EPCC.
• Coordinate with Vendors, Sub-Contractors and Engineering.
• Understand construction schedule and critical path; contribute to project independence.

Job description

Manages the Electrical, Instrument and Telecom discipline within construction to make certain product quality and well- timed deliver to commissioning

Works closely with electrical design team to document project requirements and develop electrical work plan for electrical system and sub-systems construction, testing and commissioning

Studies electrical drawing related to cable ladder, cable tray, penetration, system layout drawing, single line drawing and interconnection drawing

Involves in electrical hot work fitting, cable termination, cable continuity check, megger test and Atex inspection

Creates work package by area or by subsystem

Plans resources manpower, materials, facilities and P6 scheduling

Gives direction and assigns job to subordinates for job execution

Prepares the work condition for subordinate to work eg. Materials, facilities etc

Monitors progress in meeting the P6 schedule

Applies Plan, Do, Check, Act methodology for all work activities

Reports the daily work progress to EPCC

Coordinates with Vendors, Sub-Contractors and Engineering

Bachelor in Electrical Engineer/ Marine Engineering or other relevant disciplines
