Job summary

AIM RECRUIT CONSULTANCY PTE. LIMITED is seeking a site-focused electrical/mechanical engineer to oversee contracts, installation progress and ensure timely delivery of data center projects.

You will liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors, prepare method statements and shop drawings, and coordinate with suppliers to meet budget and schedule. Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required with 3+ years in construction, DFMA and BMS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction.
• Experience in Data Center or DFMA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist negotiate on procure materials, equipment and labour within budget.
• Meet with stakeholders to resolve technical/site issues.
• Work with stakeholders on shop drawings, equipment submissions, inspections, testing, commissioning.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Execution of Contracts & Installation progress
• Liaise with Client/Consultant/contractors to ensure efficient and timely delivery of assignment.
• Report and monitor of progress of project to Project Manager.
• Supervise works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications.
• Prepare method statement, shop drawings, installations / T&C check sheets, work progress report and other relevant documents for M&E related works with project teams.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants on preparation and submission of shop drawings.
• Coordinate / prepare technical submissions with suppliers / subcontractors.
• Assist negotiate on procure materials, equipment and labour in accordance to budget.
• Meeting with various stakeholders to resolve technical / site issues.
• Work with stakeholders on shop drawings / equipment submissions, inspections, testing requirements and commissioning.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction industry.
• Experience in working at Data Center or in DFMA.
• Familiar with VAV / VRV / cooling tower / Chillers / chilled water pipe / A&A works.
• Familiar with retrofit / renovation / lighting control / BMS.
