Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking an Executive Engineer/Engineer, Electrical Services to support road and rail projects. The role involves designing high voltage power systems, railway traction power systems, and low‑voltage reticulation schemes, while establishing engineering standards and participating in tenders.

You will supervise sites, conduct testing and commissioning, and review technologies for road, rail infrastructure and buildings. Leadership and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in designing and supervising high voltage and low voltage reticulation schemes
• Knowledge of a railway environment and relevant experience in designing traction systems
• Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Those with more relevant years of experience will be considered for senior positions

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for projects and studies undertaken by the Division.
• Design high voltage power systems and railway traction power systems.
• Establish engineering standards, prepare tenders, and handle site supervision, testing and commissioning.
• Review technologies for road, rail infrastructure and buildings
