Job summary

Siemens Mobility invites an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead electrification design for MRT projects in Singapore. You will own the electrical packages, coordinate with clients and offshore teams, and ensure timely submissions.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years in MRT electrification, and strong communication across stakeholders. You will work closely with project teams to deliver robust traction power solutions.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering.
8+ years experience in MRT electrification projects.
Experience with AC & DC electrification systems including control and protections.
Strong communication skills and adaptability to customer terms and conditions.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering and design activities for electrification projects, including design deliverables, client meetings, and coordination with external consultants and vendors.
Lead electrical package design for traction power systems (e.g., 66KV, 22KV, 750VDC, 1500V DC) and associated equipment.
Prepare and review schematic drawings, technical specifications, GA and SLD.
Coordinate with offshore teams to finalize designs and ensure on-time submissions.
Support design and project teams with inputs; develop conceptual engineering and value-added solutions.
Provide system engineering support for tenders/bids and coordinate with customer design verification.
