Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Facilities & Maintenance) to support maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of plant facilities and utilities systems.

You will oversee building electrical systems, facility maintenance activities, utilities management, and engineering projects while driving operational excellence through data-driven maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical engineering, facilities maintenance, and facilities management.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems maintenance.
• Experience managing facilities projects, vendors, and contractors.
• Proficient in MS Office and digital maintenance technologies.
• Familiarity with IoT, smart facilities, or AI-driven maintenance solutions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive maintenance for facility and building systems.
• Ensure operation and reliability of Electrical, HVAC, MV, compressed air, plumbing systems.
• Implement predictive maintenance using IoT and AI-driven applications.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements in energy efficiency and uptime.
• Lead facility upgrade, repair, and vendor management projects.
• Develop Integrated Facilities Management initiatives and optimize processes.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Facilities & Maintenance) to support the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of plant facilities and utilities systems. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will oversee building electrical systems, facility maintenance activities, utilities management, and engineering projects while driving operational excellence through innovative and data-driven maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities & Building Systems Maintenance

• Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive maintenance programs for facility and building systems.
• Ensure optimal operation and reliability of: Electrical Systems, HVAC Systems, Medium Voltage (MV) Systems, Compressed Air Systems, Plumbing & Sanitary Systems
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.

Predictive Maintenance & Digitalisation

• Implement predictive maintenance strategies using IoT technologies and AI-driven applications.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive improvements in: Energy efficiency, Equipment uptime, Breakdown recovery time, Power interruption reduction
• Support the development of AI-driven Maintenance Work Processes (MWP).

Utilities Management

• Manage and maintain critical utilities infrastructure including: HT/LT Electrical Systems, Energy Monitoring Systems, Digital Metering Systems, Water Supply Systems, Gas Supply Systems
• Ensure uninterrupted utilities supply and system performance.

Project & Vendor Management

• Lead facility upgrade, repair, and improvement projects.
• Review and approve vendor electrical design submissions.
• Monitor contractor performance, work quality, and safety compliance.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget, scope, and schedule.

Integrated Facilities Management (IFM)

• Develop and implement Integrated Facilities Management initiatives.
• Improve coordination between maintenance disciplines and engineering teams.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and optimise facility maintenance processes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, facilities maintenance, and facilities management.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems maintenance.
• Experience managing facilities projects, vendors, and contractors.
• Proficient in MS Office and digital maintenance technologies.
• Familiarity with IoT, smart facilities, or AI-driven maintenance solutions is advantageous.
• Troubleshooting, analytical, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Manufacturing industry experience will be advantageous

• Working Hours: 7.42am - 5.00pm
• Salary: SGD$5000 - $6000
