Job summary

WELEAD SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a qualified candidate to perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on marine vessels. The role involves managing projects from design to execution, engaging with clients, and supervising junior engineers.

The ideal applicant should hold a Diploma in Marine, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering and be willing to travel for overseas projects. Team management experience is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma in Marine / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering background.
• Able to travel overseas for projects.
• Prior work experience with steam plants or boiler systems.
• Well conversant in English.
• Team management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on vessels.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, combustion adjustments, repairs and control system upgrades on vessels.
• Manage projects from engineering design assistance to execution of projects at sea.
• Direct engagement with clients on work project requirements, project schedule and project implementations.
• Spares management pertaining to project requirements.
• Team management of junior engineers and technicians. Manpower arrangements.
• Tabulation of findings and reports for diagnostics and work completion.
• Provide diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair on mechanics and electrical systems, PLC and relay-based controls.
