Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. assists a precision engineering and semiconductor manufacturer in hiring a Controls & Electrical Engineer for ongoing transformation projects in the West.

You design and simulate AC/DC power, control and communication circuits, and develop integrated control systems and embedded hardware. The role requires a bachelor's degree in electrical-related fields and a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with sensors, microcontroller programming (C/C++), soldering, and testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience in electrical hardware, circuitry, embedded systems or controls engineering.
• Experience programming microcontrollers in C/C++ (Arduino, Raspberry Pi or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of closed-loop control systems and various sensors (pressure, temp, motion, proximity).
• Hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, DMMs, logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate AC/DC power, control, and communication circuits.
• Develop and integrate control systems, sensors and embedded hardware.
• Assemble, wire, modify and troubleshoot electrical assemblies and control boxes.
• Provide technical support to Sales and Marketing for customer engagement.
• Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, wiring drawings, test procedures, and project reports.
• Work with customers and suppliers on technical requirements, project execution, and issue resolution.
• Support Operations and Quality teams in troubleshooting, process improvement, and product performance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and simulate AC/DC power, control, and communication circuits.
• Develop and integrate control systems, sensors, and embedded hardware.
• Assemble, wire, modify, and troubleshoot custom electrical assemblies and control boxes.
• Support product improvement, innovation, and technical solution development.
• Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, wiring drawings, test procedures, and project reports.

Requirements:
