Job summary

SESTO Robotics is seeking an Electrical & Controls Engineer to own electrical panel design, PLC/HMI programming, safety circuits, and site integration. Candidates with hands-on experience across industrial automation, machinery, material handling, or BMS are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include designing control panels, programming PLCs, and overseeing safety logic on real-world automation sites.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical schematics/drawings produced and PLC code modified.
• Clear explanation of safety circuit design and differences between standard vs safety-related functions.
• Experience with panel FAT, site commissioning, and fault isolation.
• Discipline in following documented wiring standards and avoiding ad-hoc onsite changes.

Responsibilities

• Produce control panel schematics, single-line diagrams, I/O lists, BOMs, and cable schedules.
• Program and commission PLC/HMI sequences, interlocks, alarms, and handshakes.
• Design and validate safety circuits including emergency stops and interlocks.
• Oversee panel builders and electrical contractors; conduct loop checks and reviews.
• Lead site I/O checkout and troubleshoot intermittent faults.
