Job summary

CHCT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced engineer to design control panels, prepare BOMs, and lead the assembly, wiring, and QC of electrical systems. The role involves SCADA/HMI/PLC development, on-site commissioning, and rigorous calibration to ensure reliable operation.

The candidate will plan site wiring drawings, define project scope and budget, and oversee scheduling, construction, and quality. Collaboration across engineering disciplines is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Semiconductor, Process Plant, Manufacturing, EPC, or Machinery industries.
• Ability to work independently with strong cross-functional coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan control panels and circuit diagrams per specs and customer needs.
• Prepare BOMs and procurement requests for control panel components.
• Assemble control panels, machine wiring, and perform QC.
• Develop and program SCADA interfaces, report programs, HMIs, and PLCs.
• On-site commissioning, signal testing, and instrument calibration.
• Prepare on-site wiring drawings and assist in defining project scope and budget.
• Manage project scheduling, construction, and quality control.
• Troubleshoot construction issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain project documents and forms for traceability.
• Review vendor claims and assist with financial reconciliation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Design and plan control panels and circuit diagrams, ensuring system configurations meet engineering specifications and customer requirements.
• Prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM) for control panel electrical components, conduct material estimation, and submit procurement requests.
• Execute control panel assembly, machine wiring, and quality control (QC).
• Develop and program SCADA monitoring interfaces, report programs, human-machine interfaces (HMI), and PLC control programs.
• Conduct on-site system commissioning, signal testing, and instrument calibration to ensure stable system operation.
• Plan and prepare on-site external wiring drawings, and assist in confirming project scope and budget submission.
• Execute overall project scheduling and construction management, and monitor project construction, progress, and quality.
• Troubleshoot and review construction anomalies and incidents, and develop corrective and preventive measures.
• Establish and maintain project documents, records, and forms, ensuring documentation completeness and traceability.
• Review and submit vendor progress claims and payment requests, and assist with financial reconciliation and project reconciliation.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Industrial Automation, Semiconductor, Process Plant, Manufacturing, EPC, or Machinery industries.
• Able to work independently with strong cross-functional coordination and problem-solving skills.
