Job summary

A technology firm in Singapore seeks an Electrical & Control Engineer to design and develop electrical control systems for industrial automation. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in PLC programming, preferably with Beckhoff PLCs. Job Summary

As an Electrical & Control Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of industrial robotic equipment and machines. You will be responsible for creating electrical control systems, producing schematic drawings, sourcing control components, and ensuring the proper setup and tuning of control systems. Additionally, you will provide technical support on‑site and maintain detailed documentation, with a focus on Technical Construction Files (TCF).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design & Development: Analyze project requirements and take the lead in designing, developing, and testing electrical control systems that drive industrial automation.
  • Create Detailed Schematics: Produce precise electrical schematic drawings using industry-standard software like E3 or ePLAN, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Build & Configure: Select optimal control components, manage procurement, and execute the control system setup—including IO configuration, servo drive setup, and axis tuning.
  • Provide Hands‑On Support: Offer critical on‑site technical support during installation and commissioning, troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain Documentation: Uphold the highest standards of documentation throughout the project lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on compliance for Technical Construction Files (TCF).
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing electrical control systems for industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in programming PLCs, with preference given to experience with Beckhoff PLCs.
  • Experience in programming motion controllers, robots, and touch panels is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrical and control engineering roles.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical and control system issues.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • Working location: NORTH
