Job summary

Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable Electrical/Instrumentation/Telecom discipline lead for construction projects.

You will ensure quality and timely delivery through close collaboration with the electrical design team, and you will develop comprehensive work plans for construction, testing and commissioning. You will study drawings, manage electrical activities including cable terminations and megger tests, and create work packages by area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering or other relevant disciplines are welcome to apply.
• Understand construction schedule and analysis of critical path
• Experience in managing Vendors and Sub-Contractors
• Able to handle project independently
• Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply (On Job Training will be provided)

Responsibilities

• Manages the Electrical, Instrument and Telecom discipline within construction to ensure quality and timely delivery to commissioning
• Coordinate with electrical design team to document project requirements and develop electrical work plan for system construction, testing and commissioning
• Study electrical drawings related to cable ladder, cable tray, penetration, system layout drawing, single line drawing and interconnection drawing
• Involves in electrical hot work fitting, cable termination, cable continuity check, megger test and Atex inspection
• Creates work packages by area or by subsystem
• Plans resources manpower, materials, facilities and P6 scheduling
• Direct and assign jobs to subordinates for job execution
• Prepare work conditions for subordinates to work eg. Materials, facilities etc
• Monitors progress in meeting the P6 schedule
• Applies Plan, Do, Check, Act methodology for all work activities
• Reports the daily work progress to EPCC
• Coordinates with Vendors, Sub-Contractors and Engineering
