Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer in Singapore to lead commissioning across data centre projects. You will assess schedules, drawings and submittals, develop testing scripts, and provide technical risk guidance to clients.

Collaboration with contractor teams and timely reporting will be essential to project success. We value proactive, organized professionals who can own commissioning outcomes, work independently, and contribute to HDR's commitment to quality and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience in commissioning or facility engineering, preferably in Mission Critical (Data Centre) sectors.
• Experience with equipment inspections, Factory Witness Tests, and Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Committed to quality and HDR values.
• Proactive, organized and capable of taking ownership of commissioning outcomes.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Singaporean or PR

Responsibilities

• Manage the commissioning process: assessments of project schedules, drawings, manuals and submittals.
• Develop commissioning implementation plans, schedules, reports, checklists and test scripts.
• Provide technical advice to clients regarding project and operational risk.
• Collaborate with the general contractor’s team to align commissioning strategies with project objectives.
• Manage attendance and reporting of factory tests.
• Undertake and report inspections and tests.
• Attend project and internal meetings as needed.
• Record detailed progress prerequisites and minutes.
• Maintain data in project commissioning software and provide progress reports and final close-out.
• Arrange third-party sign-off as necessary.
