Job summary

You will wire panels and cabinets, perform pre-power checks, set up electrical controls, run power-on tests and safety interlock checks, troubleshoot faults, and maintain strict safety practices in a full-time environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electrical wiring, control panel assembly, or industrial electrical fitting.
• Reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Proficient in using basic electrical tools and testing equipment, with strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install electrical control cabinets, circuit breakers, transformers, motors, sensors, cables and connectors.
• Inspect wiring, terminal crimping, labeling, and perform grounding/continuity checks before power-on.
• Set up electrical controls, thermal protection settings and sensors per work instructions.
• Conduct initial power-on, verify voltages, motor directions, and system startup.
• Test Emergency Stop buttons, door interlocks, and safety light curtains for compliance.
• Use multimeters and other tools to diagnose faults, record results, and report issues.
• Follow Lock-Out Tag-Out and keep work areas clean and orderly.

On behalf of our client, a world-renowned global manufacturer of advanced CNC machine tool solutions and precision equipment, we are currently inviting suitable candidates to apply for technical positions at their regional facility in the West of Singapore.

Job Scope

• Panel & Cabinet Wiring: Assemble and install electrical control cabinets, circuit breakers, transformers, motors, sensors, cables, and connectors.
• Pre-Power Checks: Inspect wiring, terminal crimping, labeling, and perform grounding/continuity checks before turning on power.
• System Setting & Adjustment: Set up electrical controls, thermal protection settings, and sensors according to work instructions.
• Power-On Testing: Conduct initial power-on, test voltage levels, check motor rotation directions (fans, pumps), and verify system startup.
• Safety & Interlock Testing: Test Emergency Stop buttons, door interlocks, and safety light curtains to ensure full safety compliance.
• Troubleshooting & Inspection: Use multimeters to diagnose loose connections or wiring faults, record pass/fail results, and report issues.
• Safety Rules: Follow safe electrical practices (Lock-Out Tag-Out) and keep work areas clean and neat.

Requirements

• Experience: Hands-on experience in electrical wiring, control panel assembly, or industrial electrical fitting.
• Education: NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (Candidates without formal qualifications but with relevant electrical work experience are welcome to apply).
• Skills: Able to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematic drawings.Proficient in using basic electrical tools and testing equipment (e.g., multimeter).Strong safety awareness when working with electrical systems.

Location: Joo Koon (5 mins walk from Joo Koon MRT)（bus transport provided with several pick up points).

Work Hours: Full-Time (5-day work week / Office hours)
