Job summary

RecruitFirst Pte Ltd in Singapore is recruiting for an entry-level assembler in an advanced manufacturing environment. You will read electrical drawings and 2D diagrams to assemble and test equipment according to engineering instructions.

Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications are welcome; the role offers permanent or 12-month direct contract with potential conversion, with shifts arranged on a 4/3/3/4 schedule and attractive shift allowances and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand electrical drawings and 2D engineering diagrams for assembly work.
• Fresh graduates with a relevant technical qualification are welcome.
• Experience in equipment assembly, system testing or manufacturing will be advantageous.
• Normal colour vision for the safe identification and handling of electrical components.
• Able to lift items weighing up to 23kg and perform physical duties such as climbing ladders and kneeling.
• Comfortable working around strong magnets during assembly and testing.
• Comfortable wearing a cleanroom suit and full protective equipment for extended periods.
• Able to work a fixed 12-hour shift, including weekends according to the roster.
• Able to start within one month; candidates available immediately or within two weeks will receive priority consideration

• Salary: $2,000/month for entry-level candidates; $2,200–$3,500/month for candidates with relevant experience

• Employment: Permanent or 12-month direct contract with potential conversion

• Location: 4 Woodlands Heights

• Transport: Two-way shuttle service from Admiralty MRT

• Shift pattern: Fixed 12-hour day or night shift on a 4/3/3/4 schedule

Shift Hours and Allowances

• Day shift: 8am–8.15pm, with an additional $20 per shift

• Night shift: 8pm–8.15am, with an additional $45 per shift

• Overtime payment applies when overtime is performed

Key Responsibilities
