EHS & WSHO Lead — Construction Safety & Compliance

Job summary

Wetech Engineering is seeking an experienced EHS Engineer to lead safety programs across construction sites in Singapore. You will liaise with Project Managers to uphold MOM safety acts, develop, implement and monitor EHS policies, and conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance.

You will also drive continuous improvement of the EHS system (ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001), maintain environmental and safety records, and deliver training to site workers and staff. Night shift may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering/ Environmental, Health and Safety or relevant courses.
• Must be registered WSHO with MOM.
• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in a construction industry.
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills, and a “can-do” attitude.
• Able to communicate with people of all levels.
• Willing to work for night shift (Depends on Site Arrangement)

Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety and health to maintain high safety at sites.
• Develop, implement and monitor company EHS Programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and enforce compliance with MOM Safety Acts and Regulations.
• Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations.
• Conduct monthly Safety committee meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement on EHS system through ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management standards.
• Review and maintain environmental, health and safety records at sites.
• Carry out training to all workers, staff, and site personnel on EHS.
