Job summary

Children's Wishing Well is seeking a dedicated Academic Tutor/Coordinator to support English and Mathematics lessons for primary students. You will assist in scheduling, onboarding Part Time Teachers, and payroll submissions at the Bukit Merah Centre.

We value candidates with diploma qualifications, strong communication, and a passion for helping disadvantaged children. The role involves coordinating with the Centre Manager and maintaining records, reports and student progress.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, preferably in primary school or social service settings.
• Strong writing and communication abilities; able to liaise with multiple parties.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and passionate about helping disadvantaged children.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct English and Mathematics lessons for primary students, including planning and assessments.
• Assist Centre Team with scheduling and onboarding Part Time Teachers; support payroll submissions.
• Support recruitment, orientation and ongoing coaching for Part Time teachers.
• Track student progress and prepare reports; maintain attendance and class records.
• Assist in organising events and school holiday programmes; respond to queries.
