Job summary

UNSW invites applications for the Associate Lecturer / Lecturer (Education Focused) in Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology with a special emphasis on neurological rehabilitation. The role supports the development and delivery of high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences that promote student achievement and employability.

Qualifications

• Accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia is highly desirable.
• Experience in exercise physiology practice, especially neurological rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Knowledge of UNSW policies and safety training.
• PhD in exercise physiology or related field and/or teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Develop and deliver high-quality learning activities, resources and assessments.
• Support program accreditation activities and maintain contemporary pedagogy in exercise physiology.
• Participate in the School and Faculty academic community.
• For Level B, act as Course Authority and implement innovative teaching approaches.
