Job summary

Mediacorp Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced editor to shape and deliver original, high‑quality content across CNA’s platforms.

The role involves guiding production partners on editorial direction, scripts, and final programmes to ensure alignment with CNA’s ambitions and audience engagement targets. The editor will oversee projects through all production stages, ensuring milestones are met while maintaining editorial standards and cross‑platform quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Journalism or a related field.
• 5–8 years of production and editorial experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

CNA is known for its distinctive documentaries and current affairs programmes. The editor will work closely with production partners in shaping and delivering original, compelling and high-quality content that reflects CNA’s editorial ambitions and engages audiences across platforms.

• Work closely with production partners throughout the production process, clearly articulating CNA’s editorial and content requirements. Provide editorial guidance and feedback to strengthen concepts, scripts, offlines and final programmes.
• Oversee projects across all stages of production, tracking deliverables and proactively addressing editorial or production issues to ensure agreed milestones and delivery timelines are met.
• Ensure content meets CNA’s editorial and platform requirements across linear, digital and other relevant platforms, with a strong focus on audience engagement and distribution potential.
• Collaborate with production partners to develop non-linear and digital assets that extend the reach and impact of content, including promotional and social media materials, and ensure their timely delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree either in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Arts & Social Sciences or New Media.
• 5-8 years of production and editorial experience.
• Editorial judgement and storytelling instincts to identify and shape compelling ideas for CNA’s audiences.
• Strong writing and editorial skills to structure and refine content for clarity, and impact.
• Organisational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and meet production milestones and deadlines.
• Clear and effective communication skills to provide editorial direction and constructive feedback to production partners and stakeholders.
• An open and collaborative mindset, receptive to new ideas, perspectives and ways of working.
