You will produce compelling stories, conceptualise programme series, and deliver engaging content for television and digital platforms, with flexibility for weekends and extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Flair for storytelling with excellent command of English.
• Degree in Arts & Social Science, Journalism or Mass Communication preferred.
• Strong interest in current or international affairs.
• Strong news sense and knowledge of local/regional issues.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and work long/irregular hours.
• Willing to work on weekends or public holidays when required.
• Production experience is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

CNA is looking for a Producer for its English Current Affairs department for a contract period of 6 months.

We want an outgoing and dynamic individual with a flair for long-form production.

The candidate will be responsible for producing compelling stories for the channel and conceptualising programme series that appeal to an audience on television and online platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a flair for good story-telling as well as an excellent command of the English language.
• Good degree preferably in Arts & Social Science, Journalism or Mass Communication.
• Must have a strong interest in current or international affairs.
• Possess a strong news sense, with a good knowledge of local and regional issues.
• Ability to exercise individual judgment, spot important trends and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Able to perform well under pressure even as you put in long and irregular hours.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, analytical skills, creativity, initiative and resourcefulness.
• Willing to work on weekends or public holidays when required
• Production experience is a must.
