Premier Inn Hotels LLC (UAE) is seeking a mid-to-senior data center cabling engineer to design and manage enterprise cabling projects in Singapore. You will align deliverables with global EDC standards using AutoCAD, prepare tender packages, and coordinate with Networking, Server, and Security teams.
The role involves vendor oversight, budget tracking, schedule management, DAC documentation, and occasional after-hours support for installations and handovers in a live data-center environment.

Overview: Provide managed cabling engineering design, project coordination, vendor oversight, and lifecycle support services for enterprise data center facilities in Singapore in alignment with global infrastructure standards.
Responsibilities:
Manage cabling designs and align deliverables with global Enterprise Data Center (EDC) guidelines using AutoCAD.
Prepare tender documentation, technical specifications, scope definitions, and support vendor evaluations.
Coordinate with cross-functional technology teams (Networking, Server, Security) and data center ops to consolidate project requirements.
Oversee project management activities including budget tracking, schedule oversight, shop drawing reviews, logistics, commissioning, and handover.
Support live environment operations, move/add/change (MAC) activities, and maintain accurate patching and panel documentation.
Manage project close-out deliverables, including operational manuals and as-built records.
Provide occasional off-hours oversight for vendor-performed installations, testing, or handover activities as required.
Years of Experience: Mid-to-senior level (demonstrated experience in mission-critical or live enterprise data center environments).
Design Tools: AutoCAD
Cabling Infrastructure: Cat6A copper, Fiber (OS2, OM4+), High-Density Fiber Cassette Solutions
Interfaces & Hardware: LC, MPO/MTP interfaces, racks, cabinets, enterprise patching systems
Standards: ISO/TIA cabling standards
Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification.
Experience delivering cabling engineering services in mission-critical, financial, or heavily regulated environments.
Hands-on familiarity with Cisco and Arista enterprise networking equipment.
Strong structured project management, documentation, and reporting capabilities.
