Mindchamps Early Intervention and Therapy @ Toa Payoh is seeking an Early Intervention Teacher dedicated to supporting young learners with special needs. You will plan and implement evidence-based programmes, document progress, and collaborate with parents and staff to tailor individualized instruction.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention or ECE with interest in special needs, at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong English, and a team-oriented mindset.

Formación

• Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education with keen interest to work with special needs children.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children (ages 18 months - 6 years old) with learning disorders and/or disabilities.
• Experience in Early Intervention Setting or with children with special needs would be an advantage.
• Have a strong command of English and have good organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and yet be a good team player.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and implement evidence-based programmes or interventions.
• Planning, documentation and reporting of academic data/progress.
• Creating individualized lesson plan and IEPS with curriculum mapping and individually-designed instruction.
• Have behaviour and classroom management skills and is responsible for the safety and well-being of all students.
• Behaviour Documentation and Reporting.
• Update parents regarding sessions and progress after each session.
• Updating case notes post-sessions.
• Communicate frequently with parents and school staff.
• Conduct team meetings with other Allied Health Care Professionals.
• Planning and implementation of social/emotional/behavioural intervention.
