Job summary

Seimpi School of Music in Singapore is seeking a talented video creator to produce and edit engaging promotional and educational content. You will plan shoots, edit footage, and craft short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts while maintaining branding standards.

You will collaborate with the marketing team, adapt content to various platforms, and manage multiple projects with flexible hours. Some weekend or evening shoots may be required for concerts and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in videography and video editing.
• Proficient in video editing software.
• Familiar with social media platforms and short-form video trends.
• Good sense of visual storytelling, composition, pacing and creativity.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Responsible, organised and attentive to details.
• Portfolio or showreel of previous video work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Content Production: Plan, organise and conduct video shoots for promotional, educational and social media content.
• Video Editing & Post-Production: Edit raw footage into engaging, polished and high-quality videos.
• Produce short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.
• Handle post-production work including colour correction, audio enhancement, subtitles, transitions, motion graphics and sound effects.
• Create promotional videos, event highlights, student features and educational content.
• Ensure videos are consistent with the company's branding and content direction.
• Social Media Content: Keep up with the latest social media video trends, styles and editing techniques.
• Suggest creative approaches, hooks and storytelling ideas to improve audience engagement.
• Adapt video content into different formats and aspect ratios for various social media platforms.
• Work closely with the marketing team to meet content requirements and campaign deadlines.
