Job summary

SEIMPI SCHOOL OF MUSIC LLP is seeking a part-time Video Editor to produce promotional, educational and social media content. You will plan shoots, edit footage into polished videos, and adapt content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.

The role requires experience in videography and editing, proficiency with editing software, and a solid portfolio. On-site filming at the company premises and external venues is required, with flexible hours and occasional weekend shoots.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and conduct video shoots for promotional, educational and social media content.
• Edit raw footage into engaging, polished and high-quality videos; produce short-form content for social platforms; handle post-production tasks including color correction, audio, subtitles, transitions, motion graphics and SFX.
• Create promotional videos, event highlights, student features and educational content; ensure branding consistency across outputs.
• Keep up with the latest social media video trends; suggest hooks and storytelling ideas; adapt content for various formats and deadlines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Content Production Plan, organise and conduct video shoots for promotional, educational and social media content.
• Video Editing & Post-Production Edit raw footage into engaging, polished and high-quality videos. Produce short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts. Handle post-production work including colour correction, audio enhancement, subtitles, transitions, motion graphics and sound effects. Create promotional videos, event highlights, student features and educational content. Ensure videos are consistent with the company's branding and content direction.
• Social Media Content Keep up with the latest social media video trends, styles and editing techniques. Suggest creative approaches, hooks and storytelling ideas to improve audience engagement. Adapt video content into different formats and aspect ratios for various social media platforms. Work closely with the marketing team to meet content requirements and campaign deadlines.

Requirements

Working Schedule & Arrangement

• Working Days: 3-4 days per week.
• Work Location: On-site filming at our premises and external venues when required.
• Editing: Combination of on-site and remote work, depending on project requirements.
• Working Hours: Flexible, subject to filming schedules and project deadlines.
• Occasional weekend or evening filming may be required for concerts and events.
