Job summary

Xing Han Construction is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to manage commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects, including cost estimation, tender preparation, and final accounts.

The role requires coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective cost and contract management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in QS, construction management, civil engineering or related field.
• Relevant construction industry experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of contracts, cost estimation, tendering and quantity measurement.
• Familiar with Progress Claims, Variation Orders and Final Accounts.
• Good analytical, negotiation, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cost estimation, take-offs, and tender document preparation.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate pricing.
• Manage contracts and monitor contractual obligations.
• Review quotations, contracts and commercial terms with contractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and assess progress claims and payment applications.
• Verify completed works and valuate work performed.
• Evaluate and manage Variation Orders and control costs.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations; negotiate terms.
• Maintain records of contracts, quotations, claims, variations and final accounts.
