Job summary

Hwa Chong International School seeks an inspiring PE teacher to join its vibrant team in Singapore. The role involves leading CCAs, designing engaging activities, and integrating physical education into broader school programs to support holistic student development.

You will monitor student wellbeing, contribute to committees, manage PE equipment, and develop a comprehensive PE curriculum aligned with standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Education and teacher training qualification (e.g., Post-graduate Diploma in Education).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in teaching PE and overseeing CCAs.
• Willing to teach all levels from secondary to pre-tertiary.
• First aid knowledge is preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead up to two CCA groups with a safe, inclusive environment.
• Develop engaging activities aligned with school goals.
• Monitor student progress in CCAs and provide constructive feedback.
• Support student wellbeing and maintain parent-staff communication.
• Participate in school committees and program planning.
• Collaborate on Experiential Learning projects and CAS integration.
• Maintain PE equipment inventory and arrange repairs as needed.
• Design and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum.
