Job summary

Hwa Chong International School seeks a dedicated Physical Education Teacher to inspire students across secondary and pre-tertiary levels. The role includes supervising CCAs, developing engaging activities, and contributing to school programmes.

The successful candidate will have a PE degree with teaching qualifications, at least 3 years of PE experience, and a passion for promoting healthy, active lifestyles while maintaining strong communication with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or equivalent.
• Post-graduate Diploma in Education or teaching qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching PE experience and overseeing CCAs.
• Willingness to teach across secondary to pre-tertiary levels.
• Knowledge of first aid is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead up to two CCA groups with a safe and inclusive environment.
• Develop engaging activities aligned with school goals to enhance skills.
• Monitor student progress in CCAs with constructive feedback.
• Monitor academic, social and emotional well-being; communicate with parents and staff.
• Participate in school committees and assist in planning events and initiatives.
