Job summary

McQuilling Energy Brokerage Asia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Commodity Broker to manage day-to-day broking activities of OTC swaps and blocked trades, working on-site to serve multinational traders.

You will develop new customers, provide timely broking services, negotiate prices with buyers and sellers, and build long-term relationships while ensuring KYC/compliance and accurate trade execution.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the oil industry, commodity broking and trading skills.
• 1–2 years in energy/petrochemical broking; money broking is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with traders.
• High energy, self-motivated and results-driven; English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and maintain relationships for OTC swaps/derivatives.
• Provide timely broking services and execute client orders.
• Interact with traders and manage price negotiations.
• Increase the company’s profile and branding in the marketplace.
• Conduct market research and track market movements.
• Build and maintain customer database with trader contacts.
• Execute and clear ICE/CME trades accurately and timely.
• Onboard new clients following KYC and compliance procedures.
