Job summary

mts systems engineering pte. ltd. seeks a skilled TPM/Coordinator with DWDM background to oversee project delivery, coordinate cross‑team efforts and ensure on‑time, within‑budget completion in Singapore.

The role requires 3–5 years in DWDM/optical networks, strong English communication, and hands‑on experience with DWDM/OTN technologies. You will plan, document and support network changes, incidents, and routine maintenance across regional sites.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years as Project Coordinator (technical background valued).
• 3-5 years in DWDM/optical network field.
• Working knowledge of DWDM OTN technologies (MS-OTN, OTN, DWDM, WDM, FOADM, Fixgrid, Flexgrid).
• Knowledge of Data-Centre infrastructure technologies.
• Fluent in English.
• Bachelor in Telecommunications or related engineering field.

• Assist with Routine Maintenance, troubleshooting and incident management on DWDM Network, including dark fiber.
• Provide and maintain documentation on procedures, configuration, network changes, diagrams and inventory.
• Evaluate new requirements.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled TPM/Coordinator with DWDM background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Align with budget and reasonable project delivery timeline.
• Plan / Schedule and work closely within the teams for integration and troubleshooting request.
• Responsible to evaluate, design and document operation steps for incident free network change. Lead and raise required process for DBS network change and control for onsite access.
• Conduct vulnerability assessment. Ensure devices on the network is comply with organization and regulation's requirement following guidelines, carry out proper actions to remediate the vulnerability and documentation to support organization and regulatory requirement.
• Assisting Onsite Professional services to support local and remote support for regional DWDM Network.
• Assisting with Routine Maintenance, troubleshooting and support incident management on DWDM Network, include dark fiber. Work with vendors, ISP and within the team to address network related issue.
• Provide and maintain proper documentation on procedure, configuration, network changes, network diagram and inventory.
• Evaluate new requirement.

Requirements

• 1. Coordinator Experience requisite: Proven 2-3 years as a Project Coordinator (Technical background is a value add).
• 2. Technical Project Manager Experience requisite: Minimum 3-5 Years in the DWDM/optical network related field.
• 3. Technical Proficiencies: Working knowledge in DWDM OTN technologies(MS-OTN, OTN, DWDM, WDM,FOADM, Fixgrid, Flexgrid).
• 4. Working Knowledge: Working knowledge of Data-Centre infrastructure technologies.
• 5. Communication: strong communication skills, fluent in English.
• 6. Education: Bachelor in Telecommunications, or related engineering fields such as (i.e. Computer sciences, Software engineering, etc.)

Value add

• Proficiency in handling DWDM technologies, Monitoring and reporting on network performance, utilisation and alarms.
• Technical Proficiency in designing of network with vendors to fullfil new requirements.
• Hands-on onsite experience with Huawei DWDM equipment is an added advantage.
