Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an Engineer for PEE Dry Etch to join a team focused on start-up, development and optimization of process steps, yield, quality and cost in wafer fabrication.

You will analyze data, perform root cause analysis, and implement improvements across equipment and materials. A Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering or Science is required, with strong analytical and communication skills and a growth mindset; semiconductor internship or experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required.
  • Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communicator able to collaborate across all levels.
  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
  • Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact is desirable.
  • Knowledge of SPC, Design of Experiments, and engineering statistics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and improve process condition and technology.
  • Upgrade process capability and reduce production cost.
  • Establish and modify process management projects.
  • Set up process parameters for semiconductor equipment.
  • Evaluation, promotion and planning of new equipment / materials.
  • Analyze data and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve process issues.
  • Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
