Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Fab Engineer to lead and optimize Dry Etch processes, collaborating with global teams to improve yield, quality, and cost efficiency.

You will work on process and equipment qualification, tool start-up criteria, and supplier coordination across a wide portfolio of dry-etch platforms. The role emphasizes safety, sustainability, and the use of AI-enabled insights to drive efficiency and defect reduction in the manufacturing line.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Extensive experience in semiconductor equipment and Dry Etch process management.
  • Proven track record in maturing tool performance and plasma process parameters.
  • Experience with abnormal analysis (FDC, SPC excursions) and project delivery across DRAM/NAND.

Responsibilities

  • Lead productivity, yield, quality, and cost improvement via plasma process optimization and CIP development with dry etch suppliers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to reduce defects and improve CD uniformity and chamber matching globally.
  • Develop CIP roadmap for Dry Etch covering chamber parts, RF networks, gas delivery, endpoints.
  • Drive safety, defect reduction, cost efficiency, throughput and quality across Dry Etch modules.
  • Partner with suppliers to set start-up criteria and qualification flows; coordinate tool installations globally.
  • Improve tool efficiency and utilization via benchmarking and productivity programs.
  • Set up IoT/FDC sensors and telemetry for chamber-health monitoring.
  • Improve process windows and recipe robustness; upgrade process capability and reduce costs.
  • Pursue energy-saving and abatement solutions aligned with sustainability.
  • Incorporate AI-assisted tools to boost efficiency and decision making.
  • Promote continuous improvement with AI-enabled enhancements.
