Job summary

Talent Trader Group Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced engineer to design and build control systems for robotics products, including drone and UAV interfaces. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule and translate user needs into actionable design specs.

The role requires a strong background in C/C++ and Python, experience with Kalman filtering and PID control, and familiarity with ROS, OpenCV, Ubuntu, PX4, and ArduPilot.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field; 3+ years of robotics experience is a plus.
• Solid command of C/C++ and Python, with working knowledge of Git and bash
• Strong grasp of advanced robotic control and state estimation, including Kalman filtering and PID control
• Creative mindset with strong analytical skills
• Skilled at solving problems
• Writes clean, readable, modular code
• Collaborative, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robotic systems that interface with drones/UAVs
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule
• Collect and analyze user needs, then translate them into design specifications
• Troubleshoot robotics-related problems and support other teams technically
• Test the algorithms you implement
• Keep R&D and testing equipment current
• Track emerging technologies and integrate them into existing products
• Assist customers directly with technical issues as needed
• Write project proposals and pitch them to management
• Take on other tasks as assigned
