Job summary

The Vintage Wine Club is hiring a Driver and Warehouse Assistant for our Kampong Ubi Central Region facility in Singapore. This full-time role combines warehouse operations with on-road deliveries to ensure safe handling, accurate stocking, and timely customer service.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driving licence with a clean record, warehouse or distribution experience, and the physical ability to lift up to 20 kg. Training and staff discounts are offered in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence with a clean record and delivery driving experience.
• Previous warehouse/logistics/distribution experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 kg regularly.
• Strong organisational skills and reliable punctuality.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and professional customer interaction.
• Wine and spirits handling knowledge is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload wines and spirits carefully to avoid damage.
• Organise and store inventory in the warehouse per procedures.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
• Perform stock checks and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare orders for dispatch with correct packaging and labels.
• Deliver products to customers in a safe, professional manner.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
• Support general warehouse housekeeping and a safe work environment.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Communicate inventory levels and delivery status with staff and management.

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver and Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Kampong Ubi Central Region facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that our wine and spirits inventory is handled safely, stored correctly, and delivered promptly to our customers. You will be responsible for both warehouse operations and vehicle-based deliveries, making this a dynamic role that requires versatility and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Loading and unloading wines and spirits from delivery vehicles with care and precision to prevent damage
• Organising and storing inventory in the warehouse according to established procedures and systems
• Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring they are correctly packaged and labelled
• Driving company vehicles to deliver products to customers in a safe and professional manner
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs
• Assisting with general warehouse housekeeping and maintaining a safe working environment
• Following all health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times
• Communicating effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding inventory levels and delivery status

What we're looking for

• A valid driving licence with a clean driving record and experience in commercial or delivery driving
• Previous experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly (max 20 kg)
• Strong organisational skills and respect of delivery timing
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanour when interacting with customers
• Knowledge of wine and spirits handling procedures is advantageous but not essential
• Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads and busy periods
