Job summary

Group 6 LLC seeks a warehouse assistant to support daily operations, ensuring items are prepared for logistics and stock is accurately maintained. You will work with the warehouse team to coordinate deliveries, receive arrivals, and assist in loading, unloading, and distribution.

This role requires effective communication, ability to work weekends, and willingness to perform general duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse operations with appropriate staffing and preparation of items.
• Maintain stock accuracy and complete inventory transactions on time.
• Coordinate with Ops to ensure timely delivery and load stock onto pallets.
• Receive and check items on arrival per SOP; unload and load stock as needed.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to outlets and assist in collection and distribution.

Job description

Be responsible to support daily operations in warehouse by ensuring adequate manpower to perform warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Work with warehouse manager or management-appointed staff on daily operation requirements and ensure items are well prepared before logistic arrangement;
• Ensure all inventory transactions are completed within the timelines and maintain stock accuracy;
• Plan and coordinate with Ops team to ensure timely delivery;
• Receive and check items and goods upon arrival in accordance with Company SOP;
• Load stock order on trays/pallets into Van/Truck;
• Monthly stock balance checking and monitoring;
• Report any issues pertaining to safety, quality or hygiene to superior immediately upon discovery;
• Suggest improvements to eliminate hazards, feedback on inadequacy of operational control, risk assessment and safe work procedure;
• Maintain general housekeeping of warehouse;
• Collect, deliver and distribute goods to various outlets in a timely manner;
• Ensure quantity of goods before loading to vehicle;
• Loading & Unloading;
• Allocation of stocks;
• Ensure timely delivery of stocks to outlets;
• Assist in collection of fresh seafood and distribution of seafood to customers (mostly in the West area);
• Basic picking and loading of goods into van with fridge/chiller type;
• Provide quality service and timely dispatch of orders;
• Maintain good working relationships with all external parties;
• Collection of cash payments and return to HQ;
• Basic cleaning and maintenance of vehicle;
• Basic invoice / records updating;
• Basic administration duties;
• Performs other job-related functions as and when required by superior;
• Able to operate pallet jack;
• Willing to work Sat rotation;
• Ability to communicate eloquently and effectively.
