Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Diploma-qualified Draftsman to prepare and maintain M&E drawings and coordinate systems across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. You will review specifications and ensure compliance with Singapore standards while liaising with project teams.

Strong drafting and communication skills are essential for timely delivery. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM, with Singapore experience being an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Architecture / Building / Real Estate / Construction Management / Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM modelling.
• Able to read and interpret M&E drawings.
• Singapore facilities management experience or FM operations background will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of building works and M&E systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and maintain drawings for M&E systems and related building services.
• Design and prepare drawings and coordinate systems including electrical power, ACMV/HVAC, chilled water, plumbing and sanitary, and fire protection systems.
• Review and verify drawings and equipment specifications; revise drawings and update maintenance and project teams.
• Prepare design calculations, specifications, drawings, and other technical documentation.
• Produce accurate drawings in accordance with project specifications.
• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, technical standards, and Singapore Standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of drawings.
• Attend meetings with stakeholders and subcontractors on all drafting matters.
• Revise and update the project drawing quality plan as needed; perform additional tasks as assigned by the Project/FM Manager.

• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, technical standards, and company specifications. Ensure designs comply with relevant Singapore Standards, Codes of Practice and other applicable statutory requirements.

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of drawings.

• Attend meetings with stakeholders and subcontractors on all drafting, drawing matters.

• Revise and update the project drawing quality plan as needed. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Project/ FM Manager.

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma or equivalent in Architecture / Building / Real Estate/ Construction Management/ Engineering or its equivalent.

2. Strong proficiency in Auto-Cad , Revit, BIM modelling experience and other drafting software.

3. Able to read and interpret M&E drawings .

4. Building Facilities Management or related FM operations background with at least 1 year of Singapore relevant experience will be an added advantage.

5. Good knowledge of building works and facilities M&E systems will be preferred.

6. Good team player and communication skills.
