Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Engineering Draftsman to prepare engineering drawings for new-build and retrofit projects, and to produce detailed and single-line drawings based on client requirements.

You will assist with project planning, maintain records, and ensure timely completion while complying with safety and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Nitec or Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D for drafting and detailing.
• Basic knowledge of electrical/electronics is advantageous.
• Familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF tools.
• Strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drafts and technical drawings for new-build and retrofit projects.
• Produce outline, detailed, preliminary, single-line, termination and arrangement drawings.
• Prepare engineering documentation for customer and class society submission and review.
• Monitor engineering progress to ensure timely completion of drawings and documentation.
• Maintain proper records, documentation and filing systems.
• Assist with project planning, progress tracking and reporting.
• Identify and highlight project risks or issues and ensure safety/compliance.
