Job summary

Talent-Merge is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Draftsperson with AutoCAD experience to join our team in Singapore. You will prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings, collaborate with engineers and project managers, and ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.

This office-based role focuses on supporting new-build and retrofit projects, maintaining documentation, and contributing to timely delivery while adhering to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD with 2D drafting and 3D drawing capability.
• Experience producing technical drawings for engineering projects.
• Familiarity with drawing documentation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D engineering drawings for new-build and retrofit projects.
• Create detailed drawings based on project, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Produce preliminary drawings according to project specifications and quotations.
• Develop single-line, termination, and arrangement drawings.
• Compile technical documents for submission to customers and authorities.
• Maintain drawing records and documentation up to date.
• Track drawing progress to support timely project completion.
• Maintain records of drawings, reports, quotations and project documents.
• Support project planning, progress tracking, and reporting activities.
• Identify potential project issues or risks and follow safety and quality procedures.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Technical Draftsperson with experience in AutoCAD to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating accurate technical drawings and collaborating closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Salary: S$3,500 to S$3,800

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D engineering drawings for new-build and retrofit projects.
• Create detailed drawings based on project, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Produce preliminary drawings according to project specifications and quotations.
• Develop single-line diagrams, termination drawings, and arrangement drawings.
• Compile technical documents for submission to customers and relevant authorities.
• Keep engineering drawings and documentation accurate and up to date.
• Track drawing and documentation progress to support timely project completion.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, reports, quotations, and project documents.
• Support project planning, progress tracking, and reporting activities.
• Identify potential project issues or risks and comply with safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum NTC 2/3, ITE, or equivalent technical qualification with knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Relevant drafting experience in engineering, electrical, electronics, marine, or a similar technical environment is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D with the ability to prepare technical and engineering drawings.
• Basic electrical or electronic knowledge is an advantage.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and PDF tools; knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 is an added advantage.
