Job summary

YOUBUILD PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Electrical Design Assistant to support M&E projects. You will assist the design engineer, coordinate single line diagrams, base drawings, and as-built drawings for substations, and submit drawings for electrical modification works.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of relevant experience representing Electrical Contractors or Consultants, strong communication, and BIM coordination skills. A team player with good document control is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience representing Electrical Contractor/Consultant for M&E works in Singapore.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in BIM coordination between different disciplines.
• Assist the design engineer to coordinate and prepare electrical SLD and base drawings for substations.
• Prepare and submit drawings for electrical modification work projects.
• Good control of engineering documents.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Electrical Contractor/Consultant on M&E projects in Singapore.
• Coordinate with team members to prepare electrical SLD, base designs, and as-built drawings for substations.
• Prepare and submit drawings for electrical modification work projects.
• Coordinate BIM activities between disciplines to ensure clash-free models.
• Ensure proper document control and filing of engineering records.
• Assist design engineers with coordination tasks and review drawings for accuracy.
