Job summary

Job description

Reports directly to the Technical Manager and is responsible for producing shop drawings for civil engineering works and successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create details shop drawings for elements like rebar, road and drainage, ERSS, formwork, and earthworks based on the engineer's design drawing.
• Generating plans, profiles, and cross-sections.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant coded and standards.
• Maintain drawing records, files, and revisions in an organized manner.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project manager and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and revise accurate technical drawings based on sketches, notes, or direction from the design team.
• Assist in simple design detailing when necessary

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/Construction Management or related field. Professional certifications (Engineering) a plus.
• 2-3 years of experience in Civil & Structural works.
• AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software or tools. Knowledge of BIM related execution plans, standards, and coordination processes a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance (codes & standards of BCA, SCDF, LTA, PUB and URA requirements), ISO/bizSAFE/GGBS.
• Good planning skills in managing drafting works and modelling, strong critical thinking skills, and disciplined systems control(documents and data tracking).
• Strong communicator, conflict resolution, stakeholder management.
