Job summary

widewings pte.ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Document Verification Specialist to ensure submitted documents are visible, authentic, and consistent with records. You will annotate remarks, reorder pages as needed, and update data in Excel.

You may contact applicants for resubmissions, interview suspects of forged documents, and collaborate with the client to improve processes. This role emphasizes courtesy, accuracy, and timely service in document verification.

Responsibilities

• ensure that each document submitted is visible and authentic
• ensure that all information submitted is consistent, accurate and correct. This involves comparing the data entered against the information in each document submitted.
• annotate (e.g. indicate remarks or anomalies detected) where necessary on the documents submitted and re-order the pages of the documents that were submitted in the wrong sequence.
• update any data concerning in Excel
• make phone calls to follow up with, contact for resubmit the necessary documents if necessary
• interview Applicants suspected to have submitted any forged or fabricated document(s)
• refer any transaction to the client for decision or follow up where the circumstances fall outside the clients standard operating procedures which may be updated from time to time
• ensure that the Service Personnel provide the document verification services in a courteous, honest, timely and competent manner that reflects favourably upon the client at all times
• guide the Service Personnel in handling complex transactions and appoint experienced Service Personnel to take over such cases where necessary
• monitor the Service Personnel’s document verification process and ensure that the Service Personnel carry out the document verification services in compliance with benchmarks and standards set by the client
• partner with the client to review new service offerings and processes, and propose initiatives to ensure smooth operations and reduce the number of escalated cases
• cooperate fully with the client to review existing processes as and when required by the client and implement changes to processes as required by the client in a timely manner; and
• train any Service Personnel before deploying him or her to carry out document verification services
