Job summary

Thakral One Pte. Ltd. seeks a DLP Business Analyst to support the APAC Data Loss Prevention project. You will translate information‑protection requirements into practical DLP use cases and drive implementation across multiple countries.

Responsibilities include current-state assessments, gap analysis, documenting requirements, coordinating with country stakeholders and regional teams, and maintaining project artifacts throughout the transition to BAU.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Technology Risk, or Data Protection.
• Proven end-to-end project delivery, requirements gathering, and stakeholder coordination.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview DLP, sensitivities, and data classifiers.

Job description

As a DLP Business Analyst, you will support the next phase of the APAC Data Loss Prevention (DLP) project. Operating at the intersection of business, risk, and technology, you will translate information‑protection requirements into practical DLP use cases and drive implementation across multiple countries.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Microsoft Purview DLP Implementation

• Conduct current‑state assessments covering existing DLP solutions, policies, rules, channels, workflows, and local requirements.
• Perform gap analysis between existing country DLP arrangements and the regional/global Microsoft Purview DLP framework.
• Gather, analyse, and document business, regulatory, and technical requirements, translating them into DLP use cases and implementation requirements.
• Coordinate with country stakeholders, Regional Risk, Information Security, Compliance, and Technology teams.
• Maintain implementation plans, RAID logs, dependencies, decisions, and action trackers.
• Develop test scenarios and expected results, supporting validation of DLP rule effectiveness.
• Support transition from project implementation into the regional DLP BAU operating model, maintaining documentation, approvals, and evidence.

Business Analysis, Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Perform end‑to‑end planning, coordination, monitoring, and execution of Microsoft Purview DLP implementation across in‑scope countries.
• Handle communication with business users to understand requirements and address queries professionally.
• Support project management by documenting risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions, escalating delivery risks where necessary.
• Coordinate working groups and stakeholder meetings to drive follow‑up actions.
• Facilitate regular meetings with regional management and prepare project status reporting and management updates.

Experience

• You have 3+ years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Technology Risk, Information Security, Data Protection, or related transformation programmes.
• You have a strong track record in end‑to‑end project delivery, requirements gathering, gap analysis, testing, and stakeholder coordination.
• You have practical experience with Microsoft Purview DLP, including sensitivity labels, Sensitive Information Types, and data classifiers.
• You have the ability to independently drive outcomes while supporting regional DLP governance and project delivery.

Technical Expertise

• You have the ability to translate business and risk requirements into clear functional and technical requirements.
• You have strong analytical, documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
